The event is scheduled to run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, featuring discussions and displays spanning various topics such as the battle itself, Salisbury’s occupation, the experiences of prisoners of war, the city’s significance in the war, and subsequent engagements, including Fort York. Attendees can explore aspects of camp life, weaponry, food, personal belongings, and more. Additionally, we plan to recreate a United States Army encampment on one side and a Confederate POW area on the other for an immersive experience.
